Train and relax on the most beautiful trails in Mae Rim / Chiang Mai in northern Thailand with Nick Bonnedahl und Björn Grass.

You can expect a great program (see below) over three days with three runs, accommodation in a beautiful resort, workshops and beautiful scenery in a great country.

Join our Long weekend Trail camp 

Come and join Nick and Björn in a long weekend adventure with 3 great runs and workshops. 

Perfect if you want to get away for a nice time on the trails and be in nature. 

Also perfect if you are a runner that wand to try or learn how to be a trail runner. 

Nick has lived a long time in the area and have great knowledge about trail running and is a running coach and a ultra/trail running coach. 

Björn has extended knowledge after years being a running coach and holding running camps all around the world.

This trail running camp is advertised worldwide and once places are full, participation is no longer possible.

Price

299,- US$ or 10.900 Bath per person based on single occupancy of a bungalow.

249,- US$ or   8.900 Bath per person based on double occupancy of a bungalow.

  

A deposit of 200,-US$ or 7.300 Bath is required after booking. The rest then 4 weeks before the start of the camp.

 

Hotel

Monoceros Resort in Mae Rim

The resort has 10 bungalows, a large salt water swimming pool and a restaurant.

Monoceros Resort is 24 km from Chiang Mai International Airport.

The resort offers free internet access and free bike rentals to explore the area.

Important instructions

  • Maximum number of participants: 10 people
  • This offer can be booked as long as there are free dates. You can find out whether dates are already fully booked in our event calendar.
  • A passport that is still valid for 6 months is required to enter Thailand.
  • Please inform yourself about the current entry requirements for Thailand on the website of the Federal Foreign Office.
  • The climate in winter is optimal in northern Thailand. It can even get a bit chilly in the mountains.
  • Special vaccinations are not required

Friday:

Morning: 7 am Coffee run 13 km 

Afternoon: Running form and efficiency group work shop 

Saturday:

Morning : 17 km trail run 

Afternoon : Basic trail running workshop by Trail Coach Nick

Evening: Dinner Buffet 

Sunday:

Morning: 14 km trail run 

Afternoon departure 

 

Recommended Equipment

- Trail shoes

- Hydration pack or hydration belt

- Trail sticks (who is used to them)

- short and long running clothes (the temperatures will be about 22*C in winter,

  on the mountains less)

- dry change of clothes and small change on the (longer) runs

- small first aid pack

Requirements for participation

- some trail experience

- you can run 10 kilometers (flat) in under an hour
